HOLLY'S HOBBY FARM

Tall Tales from the Farm

Sam had always dreamed of being a successful farmer in South Dakota, but the reality of the harsh weather conditions and constant crop failures made it seem like an impossible feat. Despite facing economic struggles and dwindling resources, Sam refused to give up on his dream. He tirelessly worked day and night, constantly adapting to the unpredictable weather patterns and finding innovative ways to protect his crops. Through sheer determination and resilience, Sam was able to turn his farm into a thriving business, proving that with hard work and perseverance, anything was possible in the face of adversity.

Eggs & Goats—The Good Kind of Chaos

Our farm runs on fresh eggs, happy goats, and the everyday rhythm of real homestead life. We raise chickens for dependable, farm-fresh eggs and goats with plenty of personality—great for learning, petting, and (when the season calls for it) wholesome meat and possible milk availability. Everything is small-batch, local, and pickup only, because we’d rather do it right than do it huge.

If you’ve never met a goat, you’re missing out—equal parts comedian, escape artist, and sweet-hearted troublemaker. Pair that with farm-fresh eggs from our chickens, and you’ve got the core of what we do at Holly’s Hobby Farm: simple food, hands-on living, and a little joy you can’t buy at a big-box store. Well worth the trip.
