HOLLY'S HOBBY FARM

Tall Tales from the Farm

Benjamin was a fourth-generation farmer in South Dakota, carrying on his family's legacy and passion for the land. Despite the harsh weather conditions and unexpected crop failures, he refused to give up. When a tornado destroyed his barn and wiped out his entire harvest, he faced financial struggles that almost made him lose everything. But Benjamin was a fighter – he worked tirelessly day and night to rebuild, replant, and revive his farm. With the help of his family and community, he persevered through the toughest of times and saw success once again. The hardships only made him stronger and more determined to never give up on his dream of being a farmer.

Eggs & Goats—The Good Kind of Chaos

Our farm runs on fresh eggs, happy goats, and the everyday rhythm of real homestead life. We raise chickens for dependable, farm-fresh eggs and goats with plenty of personality—great for learning, petting, and (when the season calls for it) wholesome meat and possible milk availability. Everything is small-batch, local, and pickup only, because we’d rather do it right than do it huge.

If you’ve never met a goat, you’re missing out—equal parts comedian, escape artist, and sweet-hearted troublemaker. Pair that with farm-fresh eggs from our chickens, and you’ve got the core of what we do at Holly’s Hobby Farm: simple food, hands-on living, and a little joy you can’t buy at a big-box store. Well worth the trip.
